The service is top notch, the music the perfect volume to listen too but not yell when having a conversation at the table. I love the flow of the bar and the wonderful laid back servers. Now for the beer selection .... YUMMY. The only disappointment was the beer cheese. I don't want a modified French pinion dip when I as for beer cheese. The fried pitas with it were wonderful .
Looking to meet elite ppl to networking very knowledgeable at fundraising and love capital T and soft white music
They have delicious smashburgers! Great place with good options. They are also better than expected when doing carryout
We ordered to go for a party that we had over the holidays, a plate of the sliders and also the chicken tenders. Typically, I don't like either type of food, but it was actually both very good the sauce they use for the chicken tenders were delicious. We had the buffalo flavor. The sliders with, the bagel bun was so good. I did not get to experience the service directly because my colleague was the one that ran in and got the food. But she highly recommended it and so I'm really happy. We gave it a try.
Great beer and sports bar atmosphere! I got the house burger add jalapenos and fried egg. The most underwhelming burger ever. It has so much potential too. Zero condiments which was fine bc I was able to get some mayo on the side. The lettuce, onions and tomatoes were great. They did forget the jalapenos but didn't forget to charge for them. The burger itself was 1/2 lb and seemed accurate. Was cooked to temp. The only disappointment about it was that the burger itself had literally zero flavor. No salt or pepper and no grease or butter flavor. It honestly seemed like it was cooked in an air fryer bc it had zero flavor at all. It would have been one of my favorite burgers but it had zero burger flavor. My son got the kids Mac and cheese and that had great taste, a little dry but great taste. My wife got the truffle gnocchi. That also had great flavors. The sauce was a little "grainy" like it was a cream based sauce that wasn't combined correctly. Seemed like it should have been a smooth sauce. But none the less it had great flavor. Overall a positive experience, just a shame that they dropped the ball on something as simple as a burger, especially when the burger had everything else going for it.
I've only been disappointed one time in all the years I've been going here. I've had their pizza, fish & chips, fish tacos, fried pickles, beer cheese dip and potato gnocchi. The only thing I didn't like was their fish & chips just because it was one large piece and that made for thick greasy breading but everything else including drinks have been delicious.
Most important. Beer tags are here. Second- great beer. Third- good food! It's a bit far from where I live and would go again if in that area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quick service, comfortable and clean.
From the minute you walk into this brewery, it instantly feels warm, inviting, and comfortable. It's bright and open, and they offer all different types of seating. Everything feels clean, stylish, and well-taken care of. Service is fast and efficient, and I've never had a problem any of the times I've eaten here. They have a wide selection of all sorts of beer styles and flavors, plus hard cider and seltzer. The cocktail menu is interesting and unique, with classic selections, funky new concoctions & seasonal specials. We always start with a drink and an order of edamame, which is pan-seared and sprinkled with flaky sea salt! (Order it- you won't be sorry!) My go-to meal is a margarita and the Michigan Salad, as it's a no-fail choice in my book! They use an assorted mix of artisan lettuces, pickled red onion, dried cherries, Granny Smith apples, walnuts, cider vinaigrette, and blue cheese crumbles, which I always swap out for chèvre. It's the perfect size and we never have to take home leftovers! My husband usually opts for a wrap or sandwich, like the Chicken Caesar Naan. The warm puffy pita-like wrap with the addition of bacon takes the Caesar salad filling to a whole 'nother level! He LOVES it! Kickstand is great for meeting up with family and friends, hosting a small event, hanging out at the bar, or even sharing an intimate date night with your person :) We don't head out towards the Commerce area very often, but when we do, we always want to come here! Make sure you stop in, grab a beer or cocktail, some edamame, and don't leave without a t-shirt or sticker!
Came in her for a couple drinks after the rain chased us out of the cider mill nearby. We ended up getting some food too (they had a great selection of "bar food" on the menu so we couldn't resist. We got some chicken tenders with some really tasty BBQ sauce. It was a bit spicy but still good. Since we're in the midst of fall at the time of me writing this, so many of us at the table got the pumpkin ale and other fall beers. They all tasted really good and had great fall-like flavors in brewed in them. The inside looked pretty roomy for large groups or just coming in for a drink or two. Would definitely come back if we're ever out this way again.
